Pedro Leon was born in Venezuela and even as a child has been artistic enrolling in every conceivable workshop: theater, macrame, basketry, furniture restoration, pottery, cooking, etc.
After leaving school he trained as a Doctor in Law and Political Sciences working at the Carora Children and Adolescents Court. Leaving Venezuela at 23 years old he moved to Madrid, Spain and worked in a Bank.
The first cake was in February 2012. Celebrating his own birthday, he wanted a cake, a simple white cube. Watching online tutorials, he taught himself.
Losing his job at the Bank he trained himself in his new cake passion and its techniques.
He entered a contest organized as part of the Madrid expo ExpoTarta. His cake on the theme of fairy tales won 3rd prize.
Moving to live in France in 2012 he continued with his dream of being a Cake Designer. He participated in many workshops and trained hard.
In September 2013 his piece on the theme of cinema is rewarded with 2nd prize at the Cake Design Sevilla Dulce fair. In August 2016 he obtained the Chamber of Trades to allow him to work in France as a cake artist.
In April 2017 he entered the Cake Design Sugar Paris Show and his 1.5m high superhero themed piece won a gold medal. In June 2017, he got his Pastry Chef CAP free candidate which is required to be a pastry chef Cake Designer in France. In October 2017, his Emoji-themed cake is a silver medalist at the Lyon Show Cake.
October 2017 Cake Masters magazine listed him among the 10 best Cake Designers in France.
