She started cake decorating just aged 13 and got first Bronze award aged 14, she has been hooked on cake decorating ever since. After running a successful wedding cake business back in 2000 and winning several “Best in Shows”, she decided there was more to cake decorating than just creating cakes, so started to teach, and share her skills all around the world.
In 2002 Cassie started writing articles for cake magazines like Squires Kitchen, Cakes & Sugar Craft and Wedding Cakes & Design Source, and now write’s for several cake and craft magazines like Cake Craft & Decoration Magazine, American Cake Decorating Magazine, and several other magazine’s well-known worldwide.
Cassie has been a member of the British Sugarcraft Guild since 1990, becoming an Accredited Demonstrator and Assessor since 2005. Serving as a regional
rep and then on the national committee for several years.
She loved working on QVC TV and Create and Craft TV and becoming Create and Craft TV Ambassador for 3 years.
Also has been a fully trained Cake International Judge since 2012.
Her First Book “Sugar Sensations” was published in 2010. In September 2015 Cassie released her second book called “AIRBRUSHING ON CAKES”. Her third book “THE KEW BOOK OF SUGAR FLOWERS” came out in June 2018.
Right now Cassie is focused on youtube and giving more talks and workshops world wide to share her skills, along with developing new products to help people on their sugarcraft journey.
