Hot air balloon class with Vicky Turner from The Yellow Bee Cake Company
Date 5th and 6th October 2019

9am till approx. 6pm on both days.
In this 2 day class Vicky will show you how to build a structure and work with dummies to create a gravity defying hot air balloon and basket. Using sugarpaste to sculpt the shape of the balloon and tools to texture the basket. You’ll create a gravity defying clothes line, complete with a pair of giant Y fronts and hankies. You’ll also learn to add depth to the cake using an airbrush. Finally you will create Grandpa and his faithful dog Rex. Time permitting you will work on the Grandson figurine.
Suitable for intermediate level cake decorators, but beginners are very welcome to attend this class as well.
This class includes all materials and equipment required.

Please note: You will need to bring your own packed lunch with you and a note pad and pen if you wish to take notes.
Please be aware that it is possible that the class may run over the expected finish time, allow for AT LEAST an hour either side of the expected finish time.
Please bear this in mind when booking transport, as we cannot be held responsible for any missed trains, flights and buses.
A £100 NON-REFUNDABLE deposit is required in order to secure your booking and the remaining balance is due no later than 4 weeks before your class.
Please be aware that once the final balance has been paid, we are unable to refund so please double check travel arrangements, child care and any other arrangements before committing to a class.
In the unlikely event that Zoe’s Fancy Cakes has to cancel a class, any money paid towards the class itself will be refunded. We are unable to refund any money you have paid towards travel arrangements and accommodation.
The skills learnt during your time with us are intended for you to use within your own business but under no circumstances should the class be replicated and taught to your own students.
Photos can be taken in classes, unless the teacher says otherwise. Filming is not allowed.
